British-born and based in Maputo, Alexis has worked for more than a decade in consultancy in Africa. In 2007, he made Mozambique his home after falling in love with the vibrant society, warm people and beautiful landscape. He has steered a series of investment projects and public-private partnerships in tourism, conservation and social development in Mozambique's protected areas – national parks and reserves. He holds a BA (Hons) in modern languages from Bristol University (UK).
